  • We email the provided documents to the employer to seek written confirmation of the employment history.

Generally, the verification process takes 7 to 10 working days.

  • In most cases, employment verification is obtained through email correspondence with the employer.
  • However, if deemed necessary, we may conduct a personal visit to verify previous employments.

  • If the previous employer is no longer in business, we make a personal visit to the last known address and inquire with neighboring businesses.
  • We also cross-verify information with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs before concluding the verification.

  • We maintain a list of known fake companies and cross-check against it.
  • If the company is not on our list, we verify its existence with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and EPF.
  • Personal visits to the employer's given address may be conducted if necessary.

A case is concluded as UTV when the company is permanently closed or if there have been significant changes in management or company name.

Generally, we make 3 to 5 attempts to obtain the required information before concluding a case as UTV.

  • If provided with the email addresses of previous entities that engaged the gig-workers, we can also gather relevant information.
